so i seriously hate the fact that ABSOLUT is only showing this on Facebook, but whatev – they’re obviously still trying to get this whole internet thing figured out.

It uses an a cappella version of rapper Jay-Z‘s The Black Album and couples it with instrumentals created from a multitude of unauthorized samples from The Beatles‘ LP The Beatles (more commonly known as The White Album). The Grey Album gained notoriety due to the response by EMI in attempting to halt its distribution.

i’m not huge on Jay-Z or Oasis, but i must admit… this mixtape is pretty good.  if you like mashups, this one is tasteful.  the two sound good together!  a lil alternative rock + a lil hiphop.  executed by Cookin’ Soul – download 4Free!  Jay-Z’s notorious for releasing his vocals so indie executors can do with them what they wish… i previously posted about the free Jaydiohead download.
