anyone want to sponsor my vacation to Brazil?? what i wouldn’t give to be cruising in a Jeep through the flats of Salar de Uyuni.   at 4,085 square miles, this is the largest salt flat on the face of the Earth.  what is interesting about this location is that when covered with a layer of water, the vast stretch of perfectly flat salt creates a giant mirror…. giving way to some very astonishing photographs!  fly me there!

what a sweet place to live!  this “contemporary” mountain home was designed by Ulisses Morato and resides in the mountains of Brazil.  traditional labor was employed to construct the structure and all materials were obtained locally.  the bright colors and the form of the building are meant to contrast with the natural surroundings…

Arthur Casas Architecture and Design planned this gorgeous restaurant in Sao Paulo. described as something like a hotel lobby, without the hotel… lush green space is provided in the form of a living wall with 7,000 live plants.  the restaurant also features a retractable roof over a portion of the space.

Seagulls Fly is a seriously talented design studio based in Brazil.  their concepts are incredible… the website, impeccable – so fun!  i pretty much like all of their work, especially the animations!

in Brazil, two brothers are living on the side of a building in the name of art!  since May, Tiago and Gabriel Primo have been living outside, thirty-three feet in the air for twelve hours a day!

this Brazilian beauty was designed by Humberto Hermeto. the crazy thing soars above the surrounding landscape and sits far above the attached garage.  residents must take an elevator up to the glass encased living spaces.  the exterior walls are composed of glass from floor to ceiling.

mmm… looks relaxing!  nice vacation house by Bernardes Jacobsen.  what a wonderful way to chill in Brazil… gotta love the pool!
