fashion label French Connection released a series of advertisements focusing on “The Man” and “The Woman”, a satirical look at the essence of men and women. i particularly enjoy The Man adverts!

perhaps it is my fondness of Seattle weather that gives me such joy over this one, or maybe it’s the facetious remark by the narrator, “The man leaves for the cinema.  He puts on his coat.  It will rain.  He knows this; a regular Nostradamus.” visit their YouTube channel to see all 6!

i’m diggin the new Diesel ad campaign.  Smart vs. Stupid. nice!  Fubiz has a gang of their ads on its site…

here’s a nice animation targeting food waste in New York City.  each day, New Yorkers waste over 270,000 pounds of food… this animation was an awareness ad used to bring attention to the situation.  see how they did it, below!

i know these are really old, but i had to put them on The Juice!  obviously a fake, but superb nonetheless!

and while we’re talking National Geographic… thought i’d share a very well executed commercial.

oooh!  an excellent animation on behalf of the New Zealand Book Council… the ad tells a chilling tale, portrayed through animated papercuts from books… great stuff!

clever!  book publisher, Eichborn, attached banners to flys using natural wax… after flying around for awhile, the banners eventually dropped off.  funny!

this is pretty sweet… stop motion animation using yarn (and a brief moment with post-its)!  an advert for Music ID2.
