i think it will finally happen this time!!  Felix Baumgartner is preparing to set all sorts of records as he plummets to the earth from 23 miles above!!  read about his latest attempt over at Red Bull Stratos or read the Popsci article surrounding his 2007 attempt.  and of course, you can find more information about Felix on Wiki. aaaand, if you think Felix is the only person nutty enough to try something like this, then you’ve never heard of Michel Fournier!! Michel is also looking to take the plunge in 2010!

i love longboarding, even more so on my Original Skateboards board… but i must say, these guys and gals make boarding look way more fun than i can!  video gets good at about 2:00 and finishes really strong.

how surreal would it be to go scuba diving, only todiscover that beneath the surface of the water there is a submerged forest, through which an underwater river is flowing! well, if you scuba, you can do exactly that in Cenote Angelita, Mexico. from Fortuna:
