Base Valley House
Sambuichi Architects came up with a unique concept for a primarily underground home... in order to increase daylight into the home, they installed a glass roof. the hillside provides passive climate control while the ceiling affords copious amounts of light... the "wind street" was cut into the hill to provide natual ventilation.
